Head Professional - Simon Edwards

Simon joined the team at Windermere Golf Club in November 2008. He was a Welsh junior, youth and senior international golfer from 1987 to 1991. Simon turned professional in 1992 at Wrexham Golf Club.

He has played in three BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth and was a member of two PGA Cup teams in 2003 and in the victorious side of 2005.

Simon also won two PGA North Region Order of Merit titles in 2005 and 2006 and was Captain of the Cheshire and North Wales PGA in 2008.

As a teacher, Simon has brought to Windermere Golf Club a wealth of knowledge gained from working with and observing some of the world's finest teachers such as Jim Flick, David Leadbetter and Dave Pelz.

His simple approach to teaching the game, results in his students improving faster and having a lot more fun.

Indoor Putting Studio
 

An indoor putting studio is one of the new additions to the shop at Windermere.

The Huxley artificial putting green and Quintic Video analysis system is used for tuition on the single most important area of golf. It will also evaluate a client's existing putter to establish if they are getting optimum performance on the greens.
